CHAPTER 2: "NICE TO EAT WITH YOU: ACTS OF CUMMUNION"
Everyone loves food, and you can't deny that. Sharing a meal in literature has usually been an act of kindness and a time for people to come together and bond. Sharing a meal with others also creates friendship between others. An example of a meal bringing people together would be in the book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", at first the Grinch doesn't like the fact that Christmas is coming up and wants to steal all of the joy out of Christmas. He eventually hears singing in the city and meets Cindy Lou, she makes him change his mind about the meaning of Christmas. Eventually she invites him to the Christmas feast that they always have in the city, and it brings everyone together.
